Brief details of a session
A Coaching session is a very informal
affair whereby we meet either over
the telephone or face-to-face and
look at what you wants, needs or must
do's are.
The first session can last up to 2 hours.
The reason for this is that it is more
like a fact finding session where you
tell me what your current situation is
and what it is you wish to achieve
through coaching.
After the initial, intake, session the
sessions are from 45 minutes to 1 hour
in duration and consist of me, as the
coach, asking questions and you, the
coachee, answering them. During this
process I do not judge or criticise
what you say. I do not even make
suggestions, unless you want me to.
My sole purpose is to support you and
help you to gain clarity in what you
want to do/achieve and provide a
safe environment for you to vent
your deepest feelings.
Everything that is said is in the
strictest of confidence.
As we progress through the series of
sessions I will help you to be
accountable to what you say you want
to achieve and keep you on track
towards the ultimate goal.
The thing to keep in mind is that you
set agenda and you are responsible for
the results. It is therefore vital that
you are completely open and honest
during the sessions.
